Although a psychological or developmental evaluation may seem like a significant expense, it is truly a valuable investment in your child’s well-being and future. By undergoing this evaluation, you will gain invaluable insights into your child’s needs and receive a comprehensive plan with actionable recommendations. This guidance will empower you to take immediate steps towards supporting your child effectively. Let’s discuss your priorities and key focus areas to ensure that you can provide the best possible support for your child’s growth and development.

We have trained professionals with years of experience that use top tier Gold Standard testing for Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities so you can be confident in our findings and recommendations.  During your complimentary 15 minute phone consultation, we will gain insight and understanding into your needs which will let us know if we are the right place for you.

At the Psychological Assessment and Research Center (PARC) we can evaluate children as young as  3 years old with no upper age limit depending on the question being answered.  We can discuss this at your complimentary phone call to see if we can meet your needs.

Your initial visit, including the intake interview, can be conducted either in-person or through a telehealth online meeting.  The assessment itself will depend on what test or tests will be conducted.  For certain tests, meeting face-to-face with you and your child is crucial, while others are equally as accurate if conducted online.  For each test, we consult the latest research to ensure optimal results.

We are a fee for service center.  We can provide a good faith estimate after our phone consultation so ensure that we understand your needs.  After assessments have been completed we can provide a “Superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement consideration.

First we begin with a 15 complimentary phone call to ensure that we are the correct place to meet your needs.

Next, we will set up an intake interview which can be conducted via in-person, phone, or telehealth online. Here we will deep dive to learn about your question and concerns and gain background and understanding.  This takes around 60 to 90 minutes.

On the day of assessment, you will want to have had a good night’s sleep and breakfast.  We will meet in our office and the assessment  will last around 2 hours.  We request that you bring water and snacks to stay fueled.

About 1 to 2 weeks after the assessment we will have a one hour feedback session where we will discuss the results and recommendation and answer and questions you may have.  This can be conducted via in-person, phone, or telehealth online.

Finally, the written comprehensive report will be digitally delivered a few weeks later. You can use this to obtain the services and support you deserve.

Costs vary by type of assessment. As a nonprofit, PARC keeps fees affordable and transparent. Schedule a free consult to learn more.
